We are the Champions!

Hello all! its time for my yearly college football conference champions picks! Arent we all excited?

Lets break this down

ACC- Its no shock that the ACC has been one of the lousiest AQ conferences in NCAA. This year is no different. there are 3 teams that could be good, but i dont see any of them doing anything spectacular out of conference. Maryland, Florida State, and Virginia Tech. because one has to win, lets go with Maryland over Virginia Tech in the championship game, Maryland gets a BCS bowl, despite losing one of the top coaches in NCAA

Big 12?- I dont know what they are anymore. But with Nebraska leaving, they lose a legitimate conference championship contender. This conference comes down to who wins between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. My vote of confidence goes to Oklahoma State to beat Missouri, maybe even Kansas State in the Championship. But OK State gets the conference.

Big East- The worst conference in BCS and possibly worse than the WAC and Mountain Best! None of these teams deserved a BCS bowl last year, and dont this year either. maybe next year TCU will bring some talent. but thats next year. The winner will be Pitt

Big Ten- The most confusing conference in football. Will my Penn State win the conference? Will Ohio State? How about newcomer Nebraska? Nope! The answer lies within the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin wins the Big Ten! With the new playoff system in Big Ten play, Wisconsin will be able to thoroughly dominate its opponents.

Conference USA- UCF, Tulsa. Tough pick. im thinking Tulsa and their high flying passing game. Tulsa wins

Independents- They all win!

Mid-American Conference- Pudding Pops all around for Temple!

Mountain West- Newcomer Boise State will thoroughly dominate. Air Force, TCU, and San Diego State will all be tough teams, but BSU gives no BS!

Pac !0/12/275- The new comers will realize that Pac 10 is no Joke. Oregon, USC, Arizona. Utah will do well, but Colorado is in BIG trouble. that being said, Ducks win again!

SEC- The Gamecocks will be in the championship game. and they will beat a strong LSU team!

Sun Belt conference- Troy, or FIU. Tough. Im thinking Troy benefits from playing a weaker scheduel. Troy goes 9 and 3, and loses to Clemson, Arkansas and FIU

Last but certainly not least,

Western Athletic Conference (WAC)- With the departure of Boise State, this conference seems like it is Nevadas to take. But, with the departure of Colin Kaepernick, , who was their best weapon on their best weapon (the offense), it could be tougher. I say an experienced Hawaii team wins the conference. Nevada wont let them just have it, and theres no doubt Fresno State at least tries to make things interesting. Hawaii number 1, Nevada number 2 and Fresno State number 3

my pre-season top 25 to come later!

QB Comparisson

I am here to break down all the Quarterbacks drafted in the draft!

1) (S)Cam Newton first overall to the Panthers.
This pick, does not make sense to me. the Panthers need a passer, not a Newton. Cam does not fit in their scheme. Cam is a dominating presence on the field, but off, he is questionable. I give this pick a c-

2)Jake Locker eighth overall to the titans. Locker has potential. However, he is an average player, on a below average Washington team. he is big, and smart. If he works on his accuracy, and his pocket presence, he can be good. Saying that, The titans addressed their biggest concern. They could have gotten better, but not bad. B

3) Blaine Gabbert tenth overall to the Jaguars. This was a great pick, and the Jags are lucky to get Gabbert this late. The most NFL ready, in my opinion, and the most talented. STEAL. The Jags addressed this "need" because I dont see how he cant improve this team. With Gabbert, they are a legitimate contender. A

4) Christian Ponder twelfth overall to the Vikings. The vikings addressed their need of a QB. They werent willing to let Joe Webb take over. But, Ponder is third, maybe fourth round talent. Huge reach. Poor decision, one they will regret when Andy Dalton is ripping them apart when they play. C

5)Andy Dalton thirty fifth to the Bengals. Big steal. Dalton, first round talent, will step in immediately and take over. this is of course, if Carson Palmer decides to continue being a baby. Dalton is a major talent, coming from TCU. He is a red headed machine! Solid, strong work ethic, and has everything a Qb needs to succeed in the NFL Great pick. A

6) Colin Kaepernick thirty sixth to the 49ers. this pick is phenomenal. His numbers are impecable, and his talent and intelligence are great. he will step in and improve a depleted 49ers team as soon as he steps onto the field. I have never liked a player as much as Kaepernick! his great throwing power and accuracy are well matched by his speed and maneuverability. complete quarterback. A

7) Ryan Mallet 74th overall to the New England Patriots. Mallet just inherited the easiest job in the world. Backing up tom brady. He could not be in a better position. he is learning from one of the best in the league. The patriots could not have made a better pick. or worse. they didnt need a single thing. so all picks by them are good. A by default

8) Ricky Stanzi to the chiefs. He was a good player in college. Not great, but good. was blessed with a good team, with ball hog recievers. A solid starter, had good showings in Big 10 play. should be a solid backup to Matt Cassel. B+

9) TJ Yates to the Houston Texans. Yates failed to impress me at even a single moment in college. Hopefully he makes a great pro, because i probably wouldnt have picked him up in free agency for a 10 year contract worth 50 cents. Lacks accuracy, arm strength, and talent. watch out for him to be a great coach one day. D

10) Nathan Enderle to the Chicago Bears. Great pick. A good talent coming from such a bad school. Enderle has the complete sjills set you need to succeed in the NFL. Im not saying Cutler has to watch out, but Enderle would gladly play when Cutler is hurt, or crying that his foot hurts over on the sidelines. This kid is good. B+

11) Tyrod Taylor to the Ravens. This pick is a decent pick. This gives the Ravens a good wildcat option, with a quarterback who can also throw. Much like Brad Smith, but much more talented. The Ravens drafted him looking for a solid backup, but may have drafted a quarterback who will seriously compete for Joe Flacco's job. B+

12) Greg McElroy to the Jets. Good pickup. someone who has big game exposure, and nerves of steel. It is easy to be confident when Julio Jones and Mark Ingram have your back. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to this system, as I am sure he will get to play (not) will be a formidable backup who might be looking to start elsewhere (seattle, Buffalo, Oakland) in 3 to 4 years. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. B
